GUIDELINES FOR COMMENCEMENT OF OFFLINE CLASSES
(FOR CLASSES VIll to XIll)

Dear Parents,
Congratulating all of you for your cooperation in ensuring the successful completion of
DOUBLE-DOSE (Covid) VACCINATION for around 90 % of our students (within the Age
group of 15-18) we sincerely expect that all of you are safe,healthy & academically engaged
with your children at home.
We are pleased to inform you that.pursuant to the guidelines,titled "Reopening of Schools for
students of Class/Std-.o XI"_issued vide No-29 /PSSME, dated 03.02.2022 (PT6-SME
MISC-MISC3-0001/2020), by the School & Mass Education Department, Govt. of Odisha &
subsequent approval of the competent authorities, the school is going to reopen its
OFFLINE classes & Periodic Assessment-ll for classes XIl,XI,X &IX,VIlI(respectively) w.
e. f07.02.2022 strictly following the SOP ofCOVID-19. Itis pertinent that mostly you all have
been made aware of the Covid guidelines through the DEMO VIDEO (circulated earlier) as well
as the latest guidelines/SOP issued by the govt. are posted in the school website for reference
of the students &parents. As per the guidelines, parents are required to give their witen
consent for sending their children to the school for attending the offline classes. A sample of the
consent form is attached to this notice for reference of the parents concerned.

In this context the parents interested to send their wards to the school for offline classes are
requested to mail the consent form (attached herewith) duly filled in (preferably hand witten in
an A4 size paper) and signed by them to the mail id of the concerned classes

(meant for 8-A,8-B,9-A,9-8,10-A,10-8,11 &12 respectively) on or before 06.02.2022. Parents
are also requested to drop their ward/s near the school gate by their own arrangement and wait
till the child enters the school after thermal scanning. If any student is found having body
temperature above 98.6° Fahrenheit, the parent concerned is required to take back the child.
The school timing as well as seating arrangements for the OFFLINE CLASSES will be
same as it was followed in Dec & Jan, whereas the timing for the PA-ll (for Std-VIll &1X)
will be as per the Guidelines, circulated by the Exam Dept.of the school.However, the
ongoing Hybrid mode of Academic transactions (Online with Offine will also continue in order
to cater to the need/s of the students, who are unable to attend the classes physicaly.

Though the parents as well as students have physically verified the arrangements made by the
school for reopening of the school as per the SOP of COVID-19 earlier, in case any parent
member would like to re-ensure, they are mostwelcome to supervise the provisions&suggest
necessary improvement (if any). However, as per the guidelines of the govt, the COVID

Monitoring Team has been reconstituted in order to ensure cleanliness/sanitisation in the
School every day, before and after the classes.
On the reopening of the school, the students are requiredto:
PC ANTH
Wear face mask without fail while coming to the school & carry an additional mask
along with personal pocket sanitizer. The mask should be seen firmly on their face
covering the nose & mouth and not in displaced fashion.
Bring the hard copy of the consent form duly signed by the parents to be handed
over to the class teacher.
Move to the school on the circles marked on the road/filoor only, maintaining social
distancing.
Note the body temperature as measured through the thermal scanner by the
Security Guard/CMT representative every day to be written in the school diary
soon after the attendance is taken.
Sanitize their hands near the Touch less Washbasin Panel before entering the
classroom.
Show the Diary to the class teacher who would also keep a record of the body
temperature of all the students on every day basis.
Occupy their allotted seats only in the class room or in the school premises during the
school hour.
Not to move here and there either in the class room or in the school premises during the
school hour
Maintain social distancing and use sanitizer/hand wash before and after going to toilet
only during the scheduled interval.
Inform the concerned Supervisory head, in case
they misplace the mask during the
school hours&collect one Mask from the CMT Ic.
Carry homemade tifin only.
Not to share tiffin, water bottle, book, notebook, pen, pencil or any other
their friends.

Dispose off the disposable masks (if any), in the designated dustbin.
Leave the vicinity of the school immediately after
completion of the classes in staggered
manner to avoid
crowdlgathering near school areas.
Whole hearted co-operation is sincerely solicited from all concered.
