1. What are the key points in the module?

 
Using technology has its own risk, as we all know the internet has been widespread
around the world and can be easily accessible. The internet is a fantastic place for children to
learn but also has a lot of risk with it. This module introduces how to prevent the risk and many
unhealthy stuffs from spreading online.

2. Based on your readings, how can you apply the content of this module in your daily life,
especially during this time of pandemic?

I can apply this module to my daily life by applying the safety rules online to prevent me
from falling into the trap of malicious activities. Also Cyberbullying is now widespread and it is
bullying that takes place online or through other forms of technological communication, I can
also prevent this from happening with the use of the knowledge that this module holds.
3. What realizations did the module provide in your course?

Some realizations that I learned is that the internet is so available for a lot of people,
internet also offers a lot of services that are reliable and helpful to us but what we do not realize
is that These might include cyberbullying, the pressure to take part in sexting, encouragement to
self-harm, viewing pornography. This module is important to prevent those things.

4. How has class discussion influenced your thinking on this module?

This discussion has influenced me to be safer in using the internet, The internet provides
children and teens with access to a larger world and great resources like research, news,
communication, and entertainment but with this they also fall into malicious activities that is
why this module is important for me as also a future educator to stop and prevent my students
from falling into the same traps.

5. As a future educator, how do you visualize yourself applying the learnings from this module
and class discussion in your future teaching career?

As a future educator I can apply this module in life and career by applying E-safety,
safety in the use of network in schools and password policy which will be very helpful for me
and my students that I will have in the future rules that I have learned from this module
