Comparatives (er) and superlative (est) adjectives

Usamos los comparivos para comparar dos objectos o personas y los superlativos para comparar 3
o más cosas o señalar el grado más alto de una cualidad.

Ejemplos:
Jonh is taller than Julia

John is the tallest of the group.
Los comparativos los formamos agregando ER al final de los adjetivos y los superlativos
agregándoles EST
I am happier than you
I am the happpiest in my class.
Reglas de uso :
1. Adjetivos que terminan con e , solo agrega er o est (tall: taller –tallest-/ longer_longest)
2. Adjetivos que terminan con consonante + Y se elimina la Y y se agrega ier o iest
Happy: happier –happiest / funny: funnier_ funniest)
3. Adjetivos de una sílaba que terminan con CONSONANTE+ VOCAL+ CONSONANTE duplica la
consonante final y luego agrega ER O EST.( SAD: SADDER-SADDEST/ BIG: BIGGER-BIGGEST
4. Con adjetivos de dos sílabas ó más se antepone la palabra MORE para formar los comparativos
y THE MOST para formar los superlativos. ( more beautiful- the most beautiful)
5. Hay algunos adjetivos que son irregulares, esto significa que cambian ejemplos:
Good-better- the best Messi is better than Christiano Ronaldo
Bad – worse – the worst He is the worst soccer player of the world.
