Still a family-owned business based in the North; our story first began when Edwin
Henry Booth opened his first tea and coffee shop in Blackpool in 1847.
Since then we’ve grown and now have 28 stores across the northern counties we
affectionately call home and our commitment to the people we serve is clear. We

With seven stores dotted around Cumbria, Booths is home to countless traditional
specialities that have given the region its reputation for fantastic food and drink. From
heritage meats to celebrated jams and baked goods, Booths is proud to tell the story of
some of the region’s finest food and drink producers and you’re guaranteed to find our
stores filled with the very best products we can find.
From award-winning cheeses to the freshest fruit and vegetables, or prepared options
for your convenience, you can also browse the aisles for the perfect wine pairing or
choose from locally crafted, artisan beers, ales and ciders too.
No visit is complete without a trip to the counters where our fishmongers will help
find you find the freshest catch, our butchers will prepare your meat just how you like
it and our cheesemongers will help you put together the perfect cheeseboard.
