Drum Storage
Scope covers receipt o f the reagents from commercial sources Mixing Tank 07-1203 with Agitator 07-2003

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
S-352 (Scale Inhibitor) The lime is received as bulk dry burnt lime. All other reagents are received in
Drum Storage drums. Drums are handled by fork lift trucks equipped with hydraulic barrel
Chemical Metering Pump 07-1519 handling attachments.

Drum Storage
Mixing Tank 07-1205 with Agitator 07-2004 Burn lime is received by trucks, dumping to a storage pile. The lime is retrieved
Strainer 07-2302 from storage and transported to a hopper by a front-end loader. Lime
Transfer Pump 07-1507 is drawn from the hopper by a belt conveyor discharging to a ball mill.
Reservoir Tank 07-1206 A belt scale is installed on the conveyor to continuosly measure the
flow rate and total tonnage of lime being fed to the ball mill. The ball
