NOTICE FOR THE TENDER OF LOCAL PURCHASE OF MEDICINES

It is informed to all common & Particular that tender for the local purchase of medicine for THQ Hospital
Sambrial for the year 2021-22 have been initiated as under:

Rules:
 Bidding shall be conducted through Open Competitive Bidding (Single Stage-Two
Envelope) procedures specified in the Punjab Procurement Rules PPRA 2014
(amended up to date), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the bidding
document.
 Interested eligible bidders may obtain bidding documents and further information from the
office of Procurement Officer, THQ Hospital Chunian , on submission of written application
along
with payment of non-refundable fee of PKR/- 1000/- (One thousand only). Bidding documents
are available till date and time mention above from office of Procurement Officer, THQ
Hospital Chunian.
 Biding documents are also available on Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority
website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) until the closing date for the submission of bids.
 Sealed Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before date and time mentioned
above for receiving of the bids and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of
CDR, Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Banker’s cheque from a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan.
 Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at above
mentioned time and date in the Office of The Medical Superintendent THQ Hospital
Chunian. on the closing date.
 The bidders are requested to give their best and final prices as no negotiations are expected.
 Taxes will be deducted as per applicable government rules and proof of valid NTN and Sales
Tax registration must be provided.
 Separate discount on surgical disposable and medicines will be entertained.
 Bidder should have valid DSL after selection of appropriate bidder, Technical team of MS, THQ
will inspect the premises. Bidder should have approved pharmacy setup from chief drug
controller office Punjab.
 Local Pharmacies within 2 km radius will be preferred according to LP rules.
