SNOW WHITE AND THE CURSED BEAR

Narrator: Once upon a time, in a small village of a small town, lived a woman named
Snow White. Snow White was pretty, shy and kind person. She lost her family
2 years ago in a tragic incident. Everyday, she walks through the forest,
picking up fruits and wood.

One night, she heard a knock on the door while she was doing the chores.
She was startled and looked at the door nervously, worried about who is on
the other side of it.

Snow: It must only be some traveler who needs directions. I’ll go check.

Snow: Ohhhhh… aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh (shocked)

Bear: Ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Snow: Noooooooo! Oh my god, what is it?!

Bear: Please stop screaming. I’m just a a bear. Please help me. My ears are
hurting. I only need some help. I am cold and hungry.

Narrator: She stopped screaming as the Bear spoke. He wasn’t like other bears. His
voice was gentle.

Snow: I’m sorry. Please come in. You are covered in snow. Let me help you out.

Bear: Ohhhhh. Don’t, please stop. Oohhhhh, ohhh nooooo. That is just terrible you.
No-No-No-No. HAHAHAHAHA.

Snow: Alright, that’s enough. Let us drink something warm. I’ll get you a blanket.

Narrator: That night, a friendship was formed. One that lasted all winter. Every day, the
Bear would come to her home bringing gifts. They would share the warmth of
the fireplace. Reading stories to him. Snow loves his company. Then as time
passed, winter had come to an end, it was time for him to leave.

Bear: If it weren’t for the spell, I would have not met you.

Snow: What do you mean? What spell? You don’t have to go, you can stay with me.

Bear: I have to go. Thank you for everything you have done. But now that winter
has ended, I must go.

Narrator: And then, he left. Leaving behind his friend whom he loves so much. A few
days later, Snow was strolling in the garden. All of a sudden, she heard a
strange bunch of screams coming from the forest. She followed the sounds
and saw something strange. A dwarf had his long beard stuck under a fallen
tree, as he jumped up and down screaming in frustration.

Dwarf: Aooo stupid beard! Damn tree! Stop staring! Get over here quickly and help
me out!

Narrator: She dropped her things, tried lifting the tree, pulling and lifting as much as she
could. With all her might, she tried. But then, she gave up. Suddenly, she had
an idea. The Dwarf continued to jump up and down until he saw what was in
Snow’s hands.

Dwarf: No wait! Hey, what do you think you’re going to do? No stop! Nooooo… my
precious beard.

Narrator: Snow was amused by the Dwarf’s behavior. She had helped him and yet he
was angry with her. He continued yelling at her. As he walked away into the
forest, without even thanking them for their help. The next day, Snow decided
to stroll near the river. Once again she heard the yelping and tiny little
screams of the dwarf she met. Snow once again ran to help him out. This
time his beard was stuck in the mouth of a large fish!

Dwarf: Ohh ahhh Ohhh Ahhhhh…. Silly little fish! How dare you?!!!

Snow: Hahahahaha. Now what have you got yourself into?

Dwarf: Don’t you see that dreadful fish wants to pull me into the water? Help me!

Narrator: Snow White decided to help him again.

Snow: We all cannot win this. We all are going to drown in the water. I can’t hold it
anymore.

Dwarf: Why why why… are you after my beard? How will I show my face to my
friends? Stupid Little Girl.

Narrator: Snow White was amused and started to laugh. But then she heard
something. On a large rock behind her, the Bear lay flat on the ground with a
bruise on his forehead.

Snow: Hey! What are you doing here?

2
Bear: Oh Snow! Lend me a hand. I’m looking for a dwarf. He had gone for a stroll
through the forest with a bag of jewels. But along the way, he disappeared. I
just saw some creature that was carrying a similar bag of jewels. When I tried
to chase him, he put a spell on me and I couldn’t see where I was going. I fell
and hit my head on this rock.

Snow: I am sorry to hear that but just now, I was helping the dwarf at the river. I think
the dwarf still there. Let’s go!

Bear: Oh really? Okay let’s go!

Narrator: Both of them ran to the river. They see the Dwarf run out of a cave and like he
was being chased by someone.

Bear: Hey you, stop!

Narrator: The Bear took out his sword and started walking towards the Dwarf.

Bear: You girl wait here. This is the creature I saw with my bag of jewels. He must
pay for what he has done.

Snow: Be careful.

Dwarf: Leave me alone. Take it, take all the treasure you want.

Bear: Look what your spell has turned me into, I don’t want the jewel.

Dwarf: Enough of this foolishness. Now it is time to show my true form.

Ahahahahaha. You think you can defeat me. You will all pay the price now.

Snow: It is his beard, cut his beard. It is where all of his power is. Do it now!

Narrator: As the Dwarf had taken his monstrous form, Snow White ran with her scissor.

Dwarf: You silly girl, you think I will spare you? Hahahahaha.

Snow: Noooooo… Bear, here!!

Narrator: Bear cut the Dwarf’s beard completely. Severing it from his face, the beard
fell to the ground and he began to shrink in size. Suddenly, the bear
transformed into a handsome prince.

Snow: Aahhhhh! Who are you? What happened to you?

Bear: I told you before. I’ve been cursed by the dwarf. I’m the Bear.

3
Narrator: Since Snow helped the Bear, the curse turns to her. She became an ugly
woman in a blink of eyes. Snow cried. She didn’t expect her kindness to turn
out and eat up herself.

Bear: Oh God! I’m so sorry. Look what had happened to you. I’ll figure out
something to help you.

Narrator: But then nothing can help Snow. She live with sadness and depression. One
evening, the Bear found Snow dying and died the other day. He felt very
guilty and decided to kill himself. They both died tragically.

Moral of the story, never do bad to others, always help people in need and
always believe in fate. Repay kindness with kindness even at the end of the
day, people did not appreciate us.
