ASSINGMENT 1-

COMPANY- FLIPKART

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Flipkart Pvt Ltd. is an Indian e-commerce company headquartered in

Bangalore, India. Founded in 2007 by Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal (not

related), the company initially focused on book sales before expanding into

other product categories such as consumer electronics, fashion and lifestyle

products.

This service primarily competes with Amazon's Indian subsidiary and its

domestic competitor, Snapdeal. In 2017, Flipkart accounted for 39.5% market

share in the Indian e-commerce sector. Flipkart dominates clothing sales (a

position strengthened by the acquisition of Myntra and Jabong.com) and

would be “archaic” for Amazon in the sale of electronics and mobile phones.

Flipkart also owns PhonePe, a mobile payment service based on the Unified

Payment Interface (UPI).

Recruitment Process:

Flipkart conducts around 4 rounds to select freshers as SDE in their


organization. The following rounds are conducted:
1. online coding rounds or telephone rounds

2. multiple technical loops

3. hiring managers

4. personnel rounds

Online coding rounds / telephone rounds:

online rounds and candidates hosted by Hacker Rank Presented in three

coding questions, two were easy and one was difficult. The number of

questions may vary and the distribution of difficulties is the same. The entire

tour will take approximately 60 minutes. The problems are often based on

recursion, series, trees and graphs.

Technical Cycle 1:

The Personal Maintenance Cycle consists primarily of DS algorithm

questions such as graphs, dp, matrices, and series. There may be some

variations of the standard quiz. To go through this cycle, you need to have

a good understanding of the data structure.

Technology Cycle 2:

This cycle is usually a machine code cycle in which a particular problem is

presented, creating a solution from scratch in the language of choice, such

as a problematic task scheduling topic, and line up. Specify the full text of
the editor and implement it. Characteristic. The test cycle takes about 90

minutes and requires the entire work code, including error handling, to be

completed.

Recruitment Manager:

This round will cover issues related to algorithms and DS, primarily from

trees, graphs and linked lists, and discuss projects, technologies used,

issues encountered and more. Some conceptual issues related to the

operating system are also raised.

Expected HR questions such as:

1. Talk about yourself.

2. Your weaknesses and your strengths.

3. Discuss your position in the company
