ABOUT AMAZON

 Amazon is a reputed American multinational technology


company that concentrates on E-commerce, cloud computing,
digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.

 Its headquarters is located in Seattle, Washington, USA.


Amazon, in the beginning, started as an online marketplace for
books but later extended to sell electronics, software, video
games, apparel, furniture, food, toys, and jewelry.

 Amazon broadcasts downloads and streaming of video, music,


and audiobooks through its Amazon Prime Video, Amazon
Music, and Audible subsidiaries.
Amazon Recruitment Process:

 The Process of selecting candidates focuses on abilities, knowledge,


skills, experience and various other related factors as the right selection
may increase the overall performance of a company.

Academic Criteria :

 60% or above in any degree, Class X and XII.


 There must be no backlogs at the time of the interview.

 Amazon Interview Process
ONLINE WRITTEN EXAM:

1. Quantitative: It includes topics such as Algebra,


Time & Work, Time Speed & Distance, Arithmetic,
Percentages, Profit & Loss, Geometry, LCM & HCF,
Probability.

2. English: It consists of topics such as


correction and completion of
sentences, Paragraph Completion, Synonyms,
Antonyms, Vocabulary, etc.

3. Logical Reasoning: It includes Data interpretation,


puzzles, coding and decoding, pie charts, line graphs,
blood relation.

4. Programming: It contains questions from topics such


as DBMS, Computer Networks, OOPS, C, C++,
Operating System, Unix, etc.
Amazon Interview Process:

The Interview process consists of Technical Interview and HR Interview which lasts for
about 15-25 minutes.

Technical interview:

Questions about specific technical fields are asked in this round. Questions could be
based on specific knowledge about the company's technical activities; understanding of
the technical work required to be completed as part of the job applied for or may ask
candidates to solve actual technical problems that they would be likely to face if
employed.

HR Interview:

The ultimate step to select a candidate as an employee is Interview as it helps to


determine a candidate's personality. The questions could be of a broad range such as
self-introduction, Qualification, Experience, Courses did, experience in a specific
industry, strengths, and weaknesses, salary expectations, family, friends, etc
GOOGLE HIRING PROCESS

1. Application Process

The application process begins with building a presentable resume or CV. It


depicts the candidate's professionalism and relevancy to the position.

2. Interview Process

Telephonic Round

The Google interview process starts with a phone call or a video chat. It is a
very quick and short process than the face-to-face round, which lasts for
about 30-45 minutes.

Face-to-face Rounds

Approximately there are two to three face-to-face onsite interviews, to


evaluate the candidate’s logical and technical skills. The communication
and leadership skills are assessed by conducting group discussions.
3. Review Process

The review process is an off-screen process which takes


place for a couple of weeks. It includes two important steps.
The HR committee works on every facet of the candidate's
profile and screens the best-suited candidates. Later this
report is sent to a group of senior supporters, they decide on
who to hire for the job. A background check is also conducted
during the Google selection process, in which the team
checks for criminal history, verifies the educational and
employment stature. Once the details are validated, the
candidate proceeds with the on-boarding process which is
performed by the managers. He addresses the
responsibilities and regulations to be followed after
deployment.
1. Aptitude test

The educational requirements such as the graduation details and backlog history are
checked before the test. An aptitude test is conducted as the first level of screening.

2. Coding round

The coding round focuses on problem analysis and code development for the
questions given by the interviewer. This lasts for about 50- 60 minutes. This coding
test contains three programming questions on algorithms and data structures.

3. Technical / HR interview

In the technical round a few technical questions are asked on the specific field, while
the HR interview is all about the candidate and their personal subjects. The candidate
is also welcomed to ask doubts or any questions during the HR round of the Google
