possible vendors of the new technology products to see what options are available. The
information sourced from vendors needs to include relevant technical specifications and
pricing. He would like to see at least two options for each required new technology. He
would prefer to only deal with a few vendors so try to stick to just a few quality brands.

To fix pricing and for transparency reasons, Terrence would like you to arrange for quotes
for the new technology from the vendors. He also wants to be kept informed of any
correspondence you have with vendors.

a. For each identified new technology, conduct online research to determine suitable
vendors and source relevant technical specifications and pricing.

Tabulate your results and include this in your ROI ICT Network Architecture Report,
under Technical Specifications and Pricing, using suitable sub-headings.

Make sure you include all your research information sources listed underneath as
References using the APA referencing style.

b. Prepare the body of an email, to send to a vendor, to request a quotation for one (1) new
technology in the quantity needed. You may choose the vendor and the new technology.
In this email you need to:

 Indicate who you are sending this email to and who you are copying in on the email

 Include an appropriate business subject line

 Request a quotation for the selected new technology

 Ensure that you write your email in a business-like manner that would be appropriate
when communicating with vendors

You then need to send this Request for quotation email. You do not need to send this
email to the vendor. When you send this email, you will only be able to send it to the email
