Scene 1: The Sword in the Stone.


The noblemen gathered around the stone outside the church.
Lights on. The noblemen gathered in front of the splendid structure known as
the St Cathedral Church.
Narrator: The noblemen were trying to pull out the sword that was stuck in the
stone.
Noblemen 1: (Frustrated and tired) Argh! Why is this so tight?!
Noblemen 2: (Panting) Is this going to come out or not?!
Stage directions should always be in present tense.
Narrator: Each of the noblemen tried to pull the sword out of the stone but no
one was able to pull it.
(Arthur enters the stage.)
Narrator: With ease, Arthur pulls out the sword.
All Noblemen: (shocked) Oh my god!!!
Noblemen 3: He is the true king of Britain!

Sir Ector : Arthur, why not you give a try.


Arthur : (In surprise) Me?! But father I am a young lad.
Sir Ector : There is no harm in trying.
Arthur : I shall try father. (Walk towards the stone and slowly pull out the
sword) This doesn’t seem to be difficult!
Narrator: With ease, Arthur pulls out the sword
Scene 2: Britain has a king.
Narrator: Everyone gathered around to see King Arthur being crowned.
Merlin: (Places the crown on King Arthur's head)
Merlin: I will be your advisor, King Arthur.
Citizen 1: (Whispers) I hope King Arthur is a good king.
Citizen 2: (Whispers) Yeah.
