4 types of sentences
(1) Interrogative sentences - ask a question
a. Where are you going?
b. Will it rain tomorrow?
c. What type of sentence will we learn next?
(2) Exclamatory sentences – make a statement with emotion
a. You came to my party!
b. I hope I can go to the party!
c. I can’t believe our team lost the game!
(3) Declarative sentences – make a sentence
a. Carrots are very crunchy and tasty.
b. The house is red.
c. We read every afternoon.
(4) Imperative sentences – give a command
a. Remember to eat carrots every day.
b. Please me feed my goldfish.
c. Please open the door.
