The MPSC Rajyaseva Prelims Exam 2021 may be held on January 2, 2022,
for recruitment to various posts in the Maharashtra state

MPSC 2022 Eligibility Criteria:


Educational Qualification:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized
institution.
A diploma of a minimum of 3 years duration in any stream can also apply for MPSC.
Before filling up the application form, the candidates will have to check out whether they are eligible.
Nationality
To apply for this examination, the candidate will have to be a citizen of India.
If the candidate belongs to the reserved category, then he or she needs to produce the permanent
domicile certificate & Category proof documents.
Age Limit
The Minimum age limit is 19 years and
The Maximum age limit as per category is
General : 38 years
OBC : 43 years
SC/ST : 45 years
PwD : 45 Years

Instructions for Filling the Application Form

Before proceeding to apply, please ensure that you have the following:-

a. You must have an valid and working email ID.


b. You must give a valid and working mobile number in profile creation.
c. Scanned copy of applicant's recent photograph with prescribed specification.
d. Scanned copy of applicant's signature with prescribed specifications.
e. Keep the below details ready
• Aadhar card.
• Domicile certificate (if applicable)
• Non creamy-layer certificate (if applicable)
• Cast /EWS certificate (if applicable).
• Other Certificates such as Sports Verification certificate, Ex-Serviceman
Discharge Certificate, Disability Certificate, Orphan Certificate, etc.(if applicable)

Selection Process:
The recruitment process has 3 levels of examination.

1) Prelims exam :
This is the first stage of the examination. Applicants would have to appear for two objective-type papers
held in a single session. Those who clear the cut-off would be selected for the next exam.

2) Mains exam :
In this stage, candidates would have to appear for various descriptive-type papers. This would also
include the optional subjects chosen by them. The marks obtained in this stage would be used for
drawing out a merit list for the interview round.

Physical Test :
This stage is mandatory for only some posts and would be conducted after the mains exam.

3) Interview:
This is the final stage of the exam wherein applicants have to appear before a panel and answer
questions about themselves and on the subjects test through the entire exam process.
The interview round is conducted for a total of 100 marks.
The interview is based on current topics of interest and other general topics like human rights,
women and child development, youth welfare, consumer protection, governance and political
scenario, international events, etc.
