a. Yes, because it is made

of a tent made of street collected rags with a screen placed
underneath, showing a video of the artist retrieving his materials
from the streets of Manila. It is a is powerful, not just for its beauty
or the talent needed for its creation, but because it can cause
emotion, make political statements, or challenge preconceived ideas.
It has a appeal and skillfully made by the artist.
b. It is been compare to similar works by its uniqueness and
creativity on how its quality makes it beautiful to the eyes. It has a
meaning that compares to other works and that is it represents our
national culture and it has the potential to reach a wide audience, to
educate and show what is happening in different art communities
throughout the country.
c. Yes, because the artist earned a BFA in painting from the College
of Fine Arts, University of the Philippines (1999). He completed
residencies with Big Sky Mind, Manila (2003–04), and Common
Room, Bandung, Indonesia (2008). Having begun as a painter, he
now works primarily in video and photography. He also expanded
into process-oriented sculpture and installation informed by Arte
Povera, making work that appeals to all the senses.
a. Yes, because it relates to not only what the artist is depicting but
also how the artist is depicting it. It has meaning beyond just an
image; perhaps it will bring you to tears, make you laugh, or remind
you of something you’d almost forgotten. It also stands out in a
crowd, and dares to be different.

able to determine how skillfully it was created simply by comparison

a. Yes, because its beauty is instinctive and natural. It can captivate
you by this piece of art. It is unique and done by wonderful skills
and technique by the artist. It explores new subjects, or old subjects
in a way that hasn’t been done before. IT is understandable,
although it may make you think in ways you never expected to.
b. It is more impressive than others, or appear better made. It is
created in a similar fashion throughout the entire piece then the
effect is most likely intentional.
c. Yes, because the artist art work is now well known and mostly
people go to this place to taste and and to see it in the person how
unique and beautiful place is. Actually, it is the only upside down
restaurant in Southeast Asia.

1. How does the BBB program contribute to Contemporary
Philippine Art? The Build! Build! Build! (BBB) Program is the
centerpiece program of the Duterte administration that aims to
usher the “Golden age of infrastructure” in the Philippines. Lack of
infrastructure has long been cited as the “Achilles’ heel” of
Philippine economic development. It contributes to present the
improvements of the Philippine now. By this program the
development of the arts in Philippines is now improve and a big help
to all the people in the Philippines.
2. Give at least three benefits of BBB’s Airport projects to the travel
experience of many Filipinos.
It makes people to travel easily from one place to another
It makes people comfortable to set and to cater the passenger
to wait for their flights because it is now wide and beautiful
and already finished for the expansion and extension.
To improve the lives, especially the daily life of the Filipino
people specially in times of travelling.

3. Do you agree that BBB program of Duterte Administration

is the road to “Golden Age of Infrastructure” in the
Philippines.? Explain your answer.
Yes, because he vowed to attain this vision in the coming years to
enhance mobility and connectivity in the entire Philippines and I
believes that more infrastructure will spur equitable economic
development in the country.
4. Name at least three Filipinos under the BBB program
development who must be recognized and be given credits. Explain
your answer.
