Summary: This book is about magnets and what they are attracted
to. It also shows a temporary magnet from another magnet with a
nail. It shows how you can create with magnets. For example, the
book showed how to create a compass with water. It also shows
how magnets repel and attract. Overall the book is a great
introduction to the topic of magnets. Link

Amazing Magnetism by Rebecca Carmi


Summary: This book is about how Ms. Frizzles class was going against
Mr.O’Neatly’s class on a scavenger hunt on magnets. The students had
to solve eight riddles about what are magnets and what they do. Ms.
Frizzle being Ms. Frizzle turned her students into iron fillings to which
then they were used for experiments due to them being believed to be
iron fillings. Both classes finished the scavenger hunt and had one last
task to do. Which class won? Read and find out.

Summary: The story is about a family that are magnets that also are
living in the refrigerator. The “monster” in the story is trying to find
something that they lost. At the end they find all the missing parts. This
story is a fun way to introduce magnets in a story without going into
what magnets are just yet. It’s a great book to sit down and read to
students to get them more interested in what magnets are.
