1. Discuss the role of Mechanical Engineers in the society?

Mechanical engineers play a critical role in society as they are persons who do study and
develop initiatives to make society's life easier and more efficient. They create machines near
people's lives, such as smartphones and tablets, and larger devices like vehicles and industrial
machinery. Mechanical engineers may make a significant difference by assisting in resolving
some of the biggest global challenges facing humanity, cyber security, aging populations, food,
clean water, and energy. They may also come up with game-changing innovations.

2. What are the contributions of Mechanical Engineers in the society?

Mechanical engineers may contribute to society by providing energy solutions; today's society
desperately needs more electricity. Electricity is in scarce supply, especially in developing
nations. The cost of gasoline oil is rising. They must create a green approach to generate
power as a mechanical engineer. Also, the solution for transportation is that millions of people
die while traveling every year. When developing new automobiles, safety must be a top
consideration. Last but not least, cost-effective items; many people cannot afford to purchase
necessities for day-to-day existence. They must develop better machines and procedures to
cut costs.

3. Why ME is considered as the Mother of Engineering? Explain.

Mechanical engineering is the most diverse engineering area and plays a critical part in human
existence. A Mechanical Engineer applies his knowledge to develop goods by converting them
into functioning prototypes, analyzing engineering, and using production methods and
procedures. As a result, mechanical engineering is considered the mother of all engineering
specialties. Also, Mechanical engineering is in high demand since every industry, large or small,
contains machinery, and mechanical engineers must guarantee that this equipment runs
smoothly.

4. What is the impact of Mechanical Engineers in the society?

Mechanical engineers significantly influence society since they enable you to do various daily
tasks with ease and introduce valuable innovations to our current civilization. Almost the
product or service in modern life has been influenced by a mechanical engineer to aid
humanity somehow. These involve addressing current issues and developing future solutions
in health care, energy, transportation, world hunger, space exploration, climate change, and
others.
 5. Do Mechanical Engineers can harm in our society? Explain.
Yes, Mechanical Engineers can harm our society because they use poisonous chemicals, strong
machinery, and volatile materials; their work environments are vulnerable to fires, explosions,
structural collapses, and equipment malfunctions. The success of a mechanical engineer's
employment depends on implementing safety measures.
