Rated Capacity of blower has been changed
1 from 187 Nm3/hr to 206 Nm3/hr
The Rated capacity of Air Scour blower
has been revised to 206 Nm3/hr which is
10 % more than the normal process
requirement mentioned in the tender.
With this revised rated capacity of
blower the air scouring rate for filters will
be 50 Nm3/m2/hr, while the velocity of
air in the blower discharge pipeline will
be 11.4 m/sec, both of which is within
the permissible/acceptable design limits.
We have ordered our blowers
considering a rated flowrate of 206
Nm3/hr & this has happened because for
all HMEL-Bhatinda projects the process
specifications requires rated capacity of
blowers to be 10 % more than the
normal process requirements . We
therefore request you to kindly review &
approve the same . We have already
submitted the blower vendor documents
to EIL rotating group for their approval.
We now require EIL Environment dept.
confirmation for the revised capacity.
