II. Project Summary

An innovation efforts through google meet platform to address the challenge of

online virtual trainings/seminars when it has more than 100 participants. Naawan
Districts’ schools were given slots depending on the number of teaches on that
particular school

I made the invitation per school’s slot , through their DepEd Email Address. The
duration of the seminar is 6 days from December 14-19,2021. They were given load
allowance of cell card in the amount of 300 pesos from School MOOE.

III. Project Background

When the COVID 19 pandemic changed our face of Education, various online
platforms are being used for free, one of which is google meet, but as the need
arises , this platform need to be subscribed for a certain cost in order that it can be
used for more than 100 participants

To cater the 256 participants including the school heads and public school
district supervisor, this innovation was made in order to address the challenge of
that everyone must attend the seminar ,the school that has a bigger number of
teachers will be given more slots

IV. Project Objective

This innovation is to address the challenge of online platform in google meet

with more than 100 participants as a means of delivering through seminar the
recent issues and trends of Education

V. Project Methodology

Naawan District Composed of 11 elementary schools, 1 Integrated school and 3

secondary schools including senior high school with 240 teaching staff , 10 non -
teaching staff and 16 administration head.

With this group, we cannot used google meet platform because of the big
number , at the same time we cannot used other online platforms because internet
access is very weak in our locality.

I innovate this slots invitation to allow everyone to participate and be counted in.
Per slot is to be used by 3 teachers and still follow the Health Protocols .

The groupings was made by the school head based on their location and I give
priority slot to those living in Iligan City and Cagayan De Oro.

VI. Project Findings

Our seminar using google meet with only 100 participants was done smoothly . It
can be seen in our documentation that the 256 participants were present based on
the slot that were given to them. During the roll call, school head called the teacher
by slot at the same time every member of that particular slot was called and the
gadget camera trough out the duration were open as means of monitoring

I find the process effective because everybody was able to participate, given the
chance to express themselves, and was able to listen attentively the discussions of
the speakers for the attainment of its c goal … that despite of what had happened
Education must continue

VII. Project Recommendation

Because of its success, Naawan district recommends this innovation to be used , if

we have virtual seminar in our district, we commend this scheme because it allows
everyone to participate and be counted in . Last March 15-19,2021 In Service
Training , our district used this innovation.
