1. What is cloud and quantum computing?

cloud computing -Services including servers, storage, databases, networking, software,

analytics, and intelligence

quantum computing- focused on computer tech. based on the principles of quantum theory,
quantum state of an object to produce what’s known as a qubit.

2. Give 5 Characteristics of cloud computing and its meaning?

On-demand self-service-it enables the client to monitor the server uptime, abilities, and allotted
network storage
Broad network access- accessed through standard mechanisms that promote use by
heterogeneous thin or thick client platforms
Resource pooling- serve multiple consumers using a multi-tenant model, with different physical
and virtual resources dynamically assigned and reassigned according to consumer demand
Rapid elasticity- Capabilities can be elastically provisioned and released, in some cases
automatically, to scale rapidly outward and inward commensurate with demand.
Measured Service- Resource usage can be monitored, controlled, and reported, providing
transparency for both the provider and consumer of the utilized service.

3. Give 4 Different types of Cloud Computing Deployment Models and its meaning?
public cloud- are frequently used to provide web-based email, online office
applications, storage, and testing and development environments,
no need to purchase hardware or software, and you pay only for the service you use.
private cloud-user has the cloud to themselves.
Hybrid cloud -a mix of on-premises, private cloud, and third-party, public cloud services with
orchestration between these platforms. This typically involves a connection from an on-
premises data center to a public cloud.
Community cloud- a community which has shared concerns or tasks, It is owned, managed, and
operated by one or more organizations in the community, a third party, or a combination of
them.

4. What is the 3 Services provided by Cloud Computing?

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is a form of cloud computing
that provides virtualized computing resources over the internet. computing service that offers
essential compute, storage, and networking resources on demand, on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Platform as a Service (PaaS)- a cloud-based platform that enables developers to add real-time
communications features, computing platform in which software and hardware resources are
provided by a third party
Software as a Service (SaaS)- way of delivering applications over the Internet—as a service,
software licensing model, which allows access to software a subscription basis using external
servers.
