Close Deals Via Chat

By Arvin Cortez

When it comes to closing deals via chat, there's only one (1) question that
you need to answer...

"What does your ideal client already know?"

Do they already know what do your offer?

Have you chat with them before?

Did they bought your offer in the past?

Are they interested with your offer?

Have they worked with other freelancers before?

So many questions to answer...

But before you can close deals via chat.

You need to know your MARKET and the OFFER first.

Why? Because it will make your job easier…

Chatting with prospects will be a walk in the park.

Because know who is your ideal client and they service you want to offer.

See, closing deals via chat all boils down to this scale.
Let's breakdown each...

Unaware - these are people who doesn't know anything about you. In
short, these are people who are a complete stranger to you.

Offer Aware - these are people who knows your offer, but haven't bought
them, yet.

Most Aware - these are people who knows your offer, price, and already
bought your offer.

And your goal as a freelancer is to move your prospects from Unaware to

Offer Aware.

After that, next is moving prospect from Offer Aware to Most Aware.

It can be done in different ways…

But once you know your MARKET and OFFER…

It’s super easy…

Because all you need to do in order to move prospects from Unaware to

Offer Aware is to…

…simply talk about their problems, pain points, and struggles they’re
facing.

And if you’re wondering where to talk about it…

The best way to get leads for your freelancer service is to simply post in
Facebook groups where your ideal client hangs out.

But not just posts that sell your DFY services because you might get
banned from doing that.

One effective way I found is posting valuable content with actionable steps
that people can use in their biz…

For example…

Let’s say you help people get clients using cold email…

And you got good data in your arsenal.

One way to write value post is to explain how you’re able to achieve your
results.

How you got from Point A to Point B.

Here’s a made-up post I’ll write if I got results.

$10,750 Cold Email Results

Target Market: Restaurant owner in the US

Offer: Facebook ads

No. of leads: 1,076

Booked a call: 13

Close deals: 6

Result: $10,750 USD

Here’s the actual cold email we’ve used.

Subject: [Name]!

Body:

Hey [Name], my name is [Your Name], you don’t know me.

We’ve help restaurants get 100+ new customers in their restaurant each
week using Facebook ads.

Would love to do something similar for your biz. Are you available tomorrow
for a quick call?

Talk soon,
[Your Name]

^^^ If you noticed, the post is not selling you anything.

It’s just showing you how they we’re able to generate results from their cold
email efforts.

You can do the same in your FB group posts.

Post something valuable that people can use.

And if this is something that people want to achieve, they will reach out to
you personally and ask for your cold email services.

That’s the power of providing real value to your target market…

…if you do it right, you’ll be flooded with leads.

Keep that in mind.

Now…

Once you get inquiries about your OFFER.

Then, here’s your next step…

Let's talk about how to move prospects from Offer Aware to Most Aware.

This is my chat close strategy.

The way I do it is just ANSWER ALL THEIR QUESTIONS via chat.

Just give to them what they’re asking…

Answer all their questions honestly and truthfully.

If what they’re asking is something you can’t do, just tell them the truth.

Or if it’s something you can outsource. (much better)

Just be honest and truthful.

This strategy has been serving me well, and I lost count on how many
times I was about to use it.

Because once you know how to properly use this chat strategy, you can
use it over and over again.

Here's a real-life conversation on how I closed a $175 chat deal in 15

minutes or less...
How I Closed A $175 Chat Deal In
15 Minutes or Less
Legend:
Potential Client – Gray
Blue – Me (Arvin)

Notice that I’m not even needy to get him as a client since I know he’s just playing with
me.
So I just go with the flow and continue our conversation.
Notice that I mention the work “chiropractic” since this is he’s niche.
I’m doing that so I can only talk about stuff that is relevant to him and something that he
cares about.
And he replies with “Interesting” which makes him interested to what I do.
If you noticed, he mentions the word “What do you charge for email followups?”
So I just asked how many emails he needs.
And he also asked my other services which is the ad copy. And just I told him it’s $50.
Notice that he’s asking for other things I can write…

Pro Tip: If a client is asking you something, just answer them honestly and
truthfully.

So that’s how I closed a $175 chat deal in just 15 minutes or less. Hope you got some
golden nuggets out of it.
