LETTER REQUEST FOR LUMP-SUM SUPPORT

Dear Ms. KIRKHOLT,

This is with regard to my claim for child support before the NAV Family Benefits
and Pensions – Child Support in behalf of my minor child xxxx, with case number xxxx.
The NAV Family Benefits and Pensions has already registered my claim on September 6,
2018. I am the custodial parent of the child, and is now solely providing for her daily
needs and sustenance.

I am hereby requesting for the lumpsum payment of the financial support

retroactively from 2018 until the present, since the father of my child xxxx has reneged
to pay support for our common child since May of 2018. I am attaching an Affidavit
(herein attached as Annex “A”) to show the monthly expenses incurred for the support,
maintenance, and well-being of our child. I humbly submit that the amount of Twenty
Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty Three Pesos Only (P 20,823.00 in Philippine Currency)
is a reasonable amount for monthly support to provide the optimum physical and
emotional health of the child. Please consider that support must be given from 2018
because of the changes in the child’s needs as he grows older, in addition to the fact
that the non-custodial parent has not fulfilled his obligation to support since that year.
No amount of money could ever repay for all the emotional pain I had been through
because of the infidelity of my husband, but at least this amount for financial support
from your government could assuage the longingness of a child for the presence of a
father.

Granting this request for lumpsum payment for support will promote the child’s
best interest. The amount will be helpful in starting a small business as start-up capital
so I can have another source of income aside from my employment in a BPO company.
This will subsidize the daily necessities of my child such as meal allowance and
transportation. I can put up a savings account or investment to secure the future
contributions I will have to make for the care and well-being of my child.

We will be forever grateful for the government of Norway for considering this
request. I am hoping for a positive response on this matter forwarded to your office.
