Dear Madam/Sir,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to appeal for financial
assistance and a reconsideration of my student loans,grant, tuition fees
and childcare grant at The London School of Science & Technology (LSST. I
am currently enrolled in the Health and Social care Program/Study and
have encountered unforeseen financial challenges that make it difficult for
me to afford the full student finance grants amounts.

I made the claim live almost a year ago talking to the student finance adviser.
It's just showing that in the calculation I have a question I have to answer
about my family based arrangement and if so how much it's for.
In this case it affects my payment entitlement.

My 10 year old son is the only one attending childcare. In his calculation it
says £10.00 for Instalment family based arrangement on Collect and pay. So
the money gets split equally per week, my cases are Collect and pay.
The youngest is still yet to receive a penny and I owe almost £1000 arrears, I
really don't think she will ever get it but I'll keep on.

This is a new life that I never wanted . My son was 26 and died of cancer
3 years ago in Congo for not having any money. I’m affected through the
distraught and can’t breath as I feel completely numb. These charts are
great because it makes you feel “normal” thoughts and emotions.No one
can feel how we feel unless they have experienced it for
themselves(hopefully not). I've lost grandparents and a parent but this is
a new level of grief losing a child ,no matter what age they were . I don't
mean that disrespectfully but, to me it feels so much worse and I suffer
from depression and anxiety. I have also had problems motivating myself
to complete the work and have found it very difficult to focus and process
information because of my depression. I request that discretion be
applied to my funding so that I do not lose any future funding entitlement,
and my funding for 2022-2023.

I humbly request your understanding and support as I outline the reasons

for my appeal. Over the past year, my family has faced unexpected medical
expenses, resulting in a significant strain on our financial resources. The
accumulating medical bills and ongoing treatments have left us in a state
of financial hardship, making it burdensome to meet the required tuition
obligations.

To substantiate my appeal, I have attached the necessary supporting

documents, including medical bills, income statements .These documents
clearly demonstrate the decline in our financial stability and the
overwhelming circumstances beyond our control.

I would also like to emphasise my dedication to my academic pursuits.

Throughout my time at The London School of Science & Technology (LSST), I
have consistently achieved high grades, actively participated in
extracurricular activities, and received commendations for my commitment
to learning. Despite the challenges I currently face, I remain determined to
complete my education and contribute positively to society.
I firmly believe that with some financial assistance or a reduction in my
tuition fees, I will be able to continue my studies without sacrificing the
quality of my education. By providing me with the opportunity to focus on
my coursework rather than worry about the financial burden, I can assure
you that I will remain fully committed to my academic responsibilities.

I sincerely appreciate your time and consideration in reviewing my appeal. I

kindly request that the funding requirements be reevaluated in light of my
circumstances. I am open to discussing this matter further or providing any
