STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Dear Members of the Selection Committee,

I am writing to apply for the Need-Based Scholarship offered by your esteemed institution. As a
dedicated and motivated student, I am committed to pursuing higher education despite facing
significant financial challenges. I am Adeeba Shafait, and I come from a humble background
where financial constraints have been a constant hurdle in accessing quality education. With
three siblings, all currently pursuing their education, and my father's limited income, meeting the
financial requirements for higher studies has become increasingly difficult for our family.
My father, the sole breadwinner of our family, works tirelessly to provide for our basic
needs. However, his income falls short when it comes to covering the expenses associated with
higher education, including tuition fees, books, and other essentials. As the eldest sibling, I feel a
deep responsibility to lessen the financial burden on my parents and contribute to my siblings'
education. Receiving the Need-Based Scholarship would be instrumental in alleviating the
financial strain on my family and enabling me to pursue my academic aspirations without worry.
This scholarship would not only provide me with the necessary financial support to cover
educational expenses but also empower me to focus wholeheartedly on my studies and excel
academically.
Moreover, this scholarship represents an opportunity for me to realize my full potential
and make a positive impact in my community. With your support, I am committed to
maintaining high academic standards, actively participating in extracurricular activities, and
giving back to society whenever possible. In conclusion, I am immensely grateful for the
opportunity to apply for the Need-Based Scholarship. I am determined to make the most of this
opportunity and am confident that with your support, I can overcome the financial obstacles
hindering my educational journey.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to
your institution and making a positive difference in the world.
Sincerely,
Adeeba Shafait
