Currently, a growing number of people have an interest in an organized tour in the far-flung
distance and community. Despite of beneficial to the local residents in terms of economy and
living conditions, the trend brings detrimental effects on the countryside environment.

To begin with, tourism of remote areas creates several opportunities to enhance the economy
for those communities. In order to maintain high level of tourism, the government may
spend money to build better infrastructure. Hence, these facilities can make local's lives less
difficult. In addition, native residents can make a profit thanks to visitors. Citizens may
provide services, such as: restaurants, transportations and accommodations.This in turn
provide a stable income for local residents. As a consequence, both local people and
travelers can enjoy comfort.

On the other hand, the expansion of package tours to isolated areas can bring negative
impacts to the local environment. The construction of infrastructure is massly harmful for
natural habitat in specific and the environment in general. For example, increasing the
number of tourists in distant places is synonymous with the escalation of building hotels and
souvenir stores. Hence, creatures living nearby can be negatively influenced. They may no
longer have shelters to stay, clean water to drink and food to ingest.

As a whole, besides positive impacts on the economy that the tendency of distant traveling
bring, it results in hazardous effects on the natural environment.
