Organized tours to remote areas and community is increasingly

popular. Is it a positive or negative development for the local people

and the environment? I personally think it is benefits for local people,
but harmful to the environment
The local economy is positively affected from tourism. The more
tourism develops, the more jobs are created. The reason why creating
many jobs is that tourism promotes the development of service
industries. The local people are benefit from selling local products and
souvenirs. Besides, tourism helps people have more exposure to
different cultures and lifestyles. It makes them better understanding of
the world, thereby repealing outdated customs.
However, in addition to the positive effects from tourism, there are also
many negative effects. Tourists often throw waste into wherever they
go. This seriously affects the natural environment. Many problems can
occur such as threatening the habitat of wild plants and animals.
Construction of roads and regional camps can reduce soil quality and
causing erosion and landslides. Tourism waste dumped to the river can
cause water pollution
In conclusion, organizing tours to remote areas and communities have
both advantages for local people and disadvantages the local
environment
