A narrative is just a story – a description of a sequence of events, involving characters and
usually some underlying messages or themes.An architectural narrative is the story that a
building tells about its users and/or its patrons

a. Based on Campus Planning Principles

a. Building regulations (KMBR, NBC etc)
b. Spatial Standards and norms (Ref: UGC, Neuferts, Time savers etc, Example:
Universal accessibility)

6. Site Documentation & Analysis


a. Site study report/sheets

7. Detailed Design Program


a. Area Statement

Deliverables format:
A2 size sheets / Block models
Sheet Size : A2 (portrait or landscape, follow same orientation throughout)
Template information:
Project title
Project stage (Design Narrative)
Sheet name(design brief, user profile study, literature study etc)
Student info(name, roll number, batch), sheet number.
(PS: Follow same format throughout the project)
