General rulebook
1. Basic rules
1.1. The General Regulations are the document on which every Team Racing Competition
activity is based. Therefore it is mandatory to carefully read each point of this
document and follow the rules listed.
1.2. The infringement by a competitor of any of the rules in this section (1. Basic rules) will be
sanctioned with 1 warning . Upon reaching 3 warnings for this cause , the participant
will be excluded from any event organized by Team Racing Competition for a period of
1 calendar year . After the first exclusion, at the following warning , the participant will
be permanently excluded .
1.3. Maximum fairness, both on and off the track, is required for all participants.
1.4. It is forbidden to carry out any maneuver or incorrect action towards other participants in
any event.
1.5. Language should be moderated during all sessions. In case of clearly offensive language,
the staff will take action.
1.6. For any misconduct that occurs on track, it is possible to appeal to the Race Direction at
the end of the race as it is written more in depth at point 5.7.1.
2. General definitions
2.1. The administrator is defined as the person who holds the decision-making power and
responsibility for every aspect of Team Racing Competition.
2.2. The co-administrator is defined as a person who collaborates with the administrator in
the organization and management of every aspect of Team Racing Competition, but does
not share the decision-making power with him.
2.3. The race director is defined as a person in charge of managing and deciding on every
sporting and regulatory aspect of the events organized by Team Racing Competition.
2.4. The Staff is defined as the organizing, managing and deliberative committee of every
event, activity and decision of the Team Racing Competition. It is composed of the
administrator , the co-administrators and the race directors .
2.5. The Race Direction is defined as the directive and approval committee of all sportsmen
and regulatory aspects of the events organized by Team Racing Competition.
2.6. A driver is defined as a person participating in any virtual driving event organized by Team
Racing Competition.
3.1. All pilots must be equipped with a stable internet connection and electronic devices
necessary for the running of the events in order to avoid causing themselves and other
problems of any kind.
3.2. To ensure the best online gaming experience and avoid technical problems, all riders are
advised to connect the PS4 to the internet via a network cable and to disconnect any
other device that may reduce bandwidth.
3.3. All pilots must have installed the latest simulation software update necessary for
participation in any session before the start of it.
3.4. All times in calendars, posters and communications refer to Central European Time
( CET ).
3.5. All sessions of each event have a fixed date and time , which can be consulted on the
official website (teamracingcompetition.weebly.com) and on the communication
channels (Discord, WhatsApp), therefore all participants are required to respect them.
3.6. It is not possible to access the Qualifying and Race sessions after they have started ,
except in particular cases.
3.6.1. If a driver disconnects from the Qualifying session after it has started, he will NOT
be able to reconnect to it, until he is allowed by the Race Direction, via voice and / or
textual notification, or after the end of this session.
3.6.2. If a driver disconnects from the Race session, he will NOT be able to reconnect
and resume part of it.
3.6.3. If a driver attempts to access a session of this type after it has started, he will
receive 1 warning . Upon reaching 2 warnings due to this rule, this driver will be
excluded from the following Race to which he has access.
3.7. It is possible to access the Free Practice and Test sessions even after they have started.
3.8. Absences must be communicated at least 1 day before the date and time of the start
of an event. If a driver fails to communicate his absence with this advance, he will receive
1 warning. Upon reaching 3 warnings for this cause, the driver will be excluded from
the following Race to which he has access .
3.9. The Staff can communicate any exceptions to the rules listed above, through the official
channels (website, Discord, Whatsapp).
4. Session rules
4.1. There are different procedures for creating and participating in events depending on the
simulation platform used. There are simulators that provide access to an event via pre-
session Lobby and others that do so via open Server access .
4.2. Access via Lobby :
4.2.1. Prior to the event, an attendee will be designated as responsible for creating and
starting the session.
4.5.4. If a correct running of the session is not possible, it can be canceled or interrupted

by order of the Race Direction. In particular, if the interruption occurs during the first
quarter of the total duration of the Race, no points will be awarded, while if the
interruption occurs later, halved points will be awarded based on the classification at
the moment of the interruption order.
5. Sporting regulations
5.1. Definitions
5.1.1. A track / layout / circuit is defined as a closed road, delimited by continuous white
lines and characterized by a single direction of travel.
5.1.2. A curve is defined as a portion of the path in which there is a change in the direction
of the lines that delimit it.
5.1.3. Lap is defined as the distance traveled on the circuit in the only direction allowed
to return to the point from which you started.
5.1.4. The finish line is defined as the start and end line of the closed circuit. It is the
reference for measuring lap time.
5.1.5. It defines the pit lane / pit lane the road parallel to a limited track section and
connected thereto via a ' entrance and an' output and used for the allocation of lay-
bys and garages for the intervention of the mechanics on the car. It is delimited in
length by a start and an end line. Within the two lines there is a speed limit for safety
reasons.
5.1.6. A curb is defined as an element external to the track, placed at the edges of it to
extend its surface. It is usually characterized by a banded appearance of different
colors.
5.1.7. A car / machine / car is defined as a motor vehicle driven by a driver.
5.1.8. Front axle is defined as the straight line that transversely connects the front wheels
of a car. Rear axle is defined as the straight line that transversely connects the rear
wheels of a car.
