Drone Camera

A drone is a remotely controlled device or an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that is

being equipped with built in camera. Surveillance and military are commonly associated with
drones. This drone is being programmed to fly in a specific path controlled by the user which
integrates the use of software and GPS information’s, or hand manipulated. It takes pictures and
videos in an aerial view in which the user enables to capture things in a high altitude which
cannot be done by man using simple cameras.
A drone usually built in a light material for the purpose of reducing the weight and for
the easy control or the maneuverability of the drones in order to fly in high altitudes. The
drones consist of batteries, motors, blades or propeller and flight system board. Drones are also
equipped with different technologies especially infrared cameras, GPS for tracking its own
device and remote ground control system (GSC) in which the drones are being controlled by the
user.
The first thing for a drone to do is to get off the ground. For the drones to fly, it must use
all of four motors and blades to generate a net force upward that is greater than its own weight.
The motors generate the blades to rotate at a high speed with an approximately of 28500 rpm.
It consists of four blades, two on each side in which its two blades are rotating clockwise and
the other two in counterclockwise. This makes the drone to fly in a steady pace. The more
power of the motor the more it gets high and the lower the power the drone descent towards
the ground.
Each motor has its own thrust generated by the motor and blade and once in airborne
the drone will hover. The net force upward must need to match its own weight to achieve
equilibrium. For the drones to roll on its left side, the drone increases the power to the motors
on the right in which it increases the thrust being generated, and decrease the power of the
motors to the left to reduce the thrust in which the resulting net force will roll the drone on its
left. To roll back to the right side, the drone will reverse the process.
To pitch forward, the drone will increase its power to the back motors and reduce the
power to the two front motors and the resulting net force will pitch the nose of the drone down
and it will move towards us, and to pitch it backwards the drone will reverse the process. For a
drone to rotate, the drone will increase power to the front left and back right motors in which
will result to rotate in a counterclockwise and on the other hand the drone decreases the power
to the right and back left motors which will rotate in clockwise.
The drones are being controlled by the user thru controllers in which the joysticks are
the main control for the speed of the motors which increase or decrease the voltage being
delivered from the battery to each of the four motors. The more of its Voltage the more its
going faster. Drones are also being powered by lithium ion batteries and it is important to
maintain healthy batteries in order to get maximum flight. Drones are also built in GPS to know

where exactly they are in case for the controller to get disconnected from the drone, and it
knows to fly straight back where it came from.
