    i. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that


    We were known to be occupied by the western part of the globe that is
    why they brought us much more valuable possessions in our country.

    However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize


    We are the product of their developmental states and their politics of
    economic growth.

    ii. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that


    We can rely on the nation’s current stand against other nations.

    However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize


    We were separated in terms of classes specially in middle class. They were
    coined to be socially coherent, less dependent on the state, culturally
    ascendant, but politically weak.

    iii. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that


    We acted as if we were being always helped by the other nation

    However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize


    It is a scene where they could take advantage of it and use it as the
    nation’s weakness against them.
