ezekiel: idea lang po, bakit hindi nyo nalang po ipaglaban si franco at ryan para sa anak

mark: i know you guys want to be the boyfriend of the mafia boss’ daughter but in order
for that to happen you have to answer all the questions that i’m about to ask u. if you

mark: for the first question, What was the inspiration for the salt lamp by Engineer
Mijeno?
ryan and franco: (magvid na mag r’raise ng hand)
Mark: It seems like Ryan raised his hand first, so Ryan explain your answer.
Ryan; well Salt lamp is specifically made for those people who are in rural and off-grid
areas, since she has experienced it firsthand she knows the struggle to live like that and
having to do that every single day is truly back-breaking . Her inspiration are those people
who are working and studying very hard before dark appears. She wants to continue their
life and whatever they are doing even at night.
Mark: a remarkable answer from ryan

mark: and for our second question is,

2. What were the challenges that Engineer Mijeno and her brother had to overcome?
Mark: This time Franco raised his hand first. So franco tell us your answer
Franco: Engineer Mijeno and her brother had encountered some difficulties while they
were making the product, like financial problems, inadequate support, shortage in
supplies and had a hard time deciding on how they would sell their product because they
didn’t want it to oversell nor undersell. Fortunately, Ideaspace Foundation helped and
provided their needs and because of that they have pulled off the project superbly.
Mark: a very well said answer from franco this time.

Mark: this is quite intense now since you guys have scored both, let’s keep moving
forward and let’s proceed to the next question

mark: so for the third question is, What do you think should both the private and public
sectors do to help or encourage other innovators in the Philippines?
Mark: ohh, franco raised his hand first again, so franco what is your answer this time?
Franco: By just simply Supporting and exhibiting ideas to the public may be an effective
technique for promoting Filipino innovators.Promoting local innovations may inspire
others who have ideas but are hesitant to share them with the rest of the civilized
world.The private and public sectors should foster our country's innovators so that they
may be bold enough to show off what they've created.
Mark: wow, again franco gave us an amazing answer.

Mark: and now let’s proceed for our fourth question, the question is, According to
Engineer Mijeno, the technology behind the salt lamp is not "rocket science." But what
do you think gives this innovation novelty?
Mark: Ryan raised his hand first, so Ryan tell us your answer.
Ryan: It has several reasons to be deemed a novelty, including the fact that it can supply
electricity for up to 8 hours by just pouring salt water. Another feature is that it has a
shelf life of 10 to 11 years.

Ryan : I completely concur that it is both a story of innovation and social
entrepreneurship because of how innovative the salt lamp is and how it helps millions of
people who are underprivileged to obtain electricity . This is more like a win-win
situation, while making a profit people on the other side are benefiting greatly on your
product.
