NEW TECHNOLOGIES RELATED TO DRUG ADMINISTRATION

The aim of this essay is to how new technologies related to drug administration continue to improve our health care
system, as time goes by our drug and Technological advances, such as new pharmaceuticals or diagnostic
equipment, have contributed to improving medical outcomes and the overall well-being of a health-care system.
Responsive health systems evaluate these changes in light of their goals and decide what, if any, improvements to
make. These modern technologies in the medical world help increase the life of the patients. It brings encouragement
to the people that they will live longer. In my opinion, it’s good to invest in this new advanced technology this is might
contribute to the transitioning of unsustainable healthcare systems in our country into sustainable ones, stabilizing the
relationship between medical professionals and patients, and providing cheaper, quicker, and more effective illness
remedies. So that we can keep up with other countries and the Philippines slowly embracing the new health care
technologies. These kinds of studies are giving hope to those people who thought that there is no hope for them to be
relieved of their sickness. It made me proud on how our world is coping up and is continuously developing throughout
the years. Hoping that there will be more advancements where the current untreatable diseases can be treated in the
near future using our advanced technology. I believe that someday it will be resolved soon considering how much
effort every country is exerting to exterminate this disease with the help of our current technology.

• List and comment on some Filipino cultures, values, and practices related to drug administration that you might
encounter during your duty in non- pathologic and pathologic maternal nursing. (100-200 words)

• Filipino children tend to cope with illness with the help of their parents. They usually rely on their parents and will do
their best for the well-being of their children. Our parents are the first ones to call when we have an illness or are sick
because they know how will react or what they going to do when we have sick.
• Patients won’t take medicine unless condition gets worse. This practice of some Filipinos is dangerous because
instead of treating the condition early, they wait for it to show some severe signs before even taking any medications.
I understand that it may have been caused by the poverty in our country. I, myself, also experienced it within my
childhood years. Whenever I get fever, my parents always told me to sweat it out first and if it doesn’t disappear in 2-
3 days, that’s when I should take medications.
• Filipino people use alternative healthcare modalities often than visiting the doctor, like acupuncture, acupressure,
and reflexology. They also have local manggagamot, albularyo and faith healers that uses herbs, oils, and candles to
treat illnesses.
