Project Name: Construction of Eight Lane access-controlled expressway starting after the end of

Bridge Over Hadaf River near Hathiyavan village in Dahod district and ending at junction with SH-152
near Matariya Vadi village in Panchmahal district (Ch.729+700 to 756+052) section of Delhi –
Vadodara Greenfield Alignment (NH-148N) on EPC Mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana in the State of
Gujarat.

1. Earth Work Without Geo-Technical investigation and Soil report it is


difficult to assess any black cotton soil in the project

2. Earth Work - Cutting This project involves huge earth cut so without Geo-
Technical investigation it is difficult to assess the
classification of soil.

3. Earth Work - Cutting In this cut height is varying from 5 – 56m height so Without
Geo-Technical investigation it is difficult to adopt the cut
slope since as per Schedule 1.5H:1V is provide so cut
quantity will be huge and its slope protection works will
have huge impact in the cost.

4. Earth Work There are only three levels available in tender P&P, i.e (center
line and 30m on both side) so earthwork quantity will not be
much accurate.

5. Earth Work Without existing Soil CBR report it is difficult to assess


the percentage of excavated reuse in embankment fill
and subgrade.

6. RE WALL ,RETAINING This project involves significant length of retaining wall and
WALL,TOE WALL breast wall so without Drone data and taking DPR levels to
calculate the height will have impact in cost.

7. Sub Base Course and Base Without Bore hole data in cut location and type of soil details
Course it is difficult to assess the percentage of reuse of rock in GSB
as well as WMM.

8. Protection Works Without drone data and quantity calculation with DPR levels
the Chute drain, slope protection works and drain quantities
will have impact in cost.
