General Introduction

The Tool is the software which only be run in PC with Windows®7, Windows®8, Windows®10.
In some operating systems, you need to right click and run the tool as administrator.

The Software Update Tool is for clients update the firmware and software of device. Before you
use the update tool, you should do the following things:
1．Make sure only one device is connected to PC.
2．Use the USB Type-C interface and network cable interface to connect the computer.
3．Use the power adapter to supply power to the device.

Software Upgrade Tool

Install Drivers:

If your computer does not support the driver of this device (MC801A), please install the driver
attached to the tool package.

The update steps are as follow:

1. Start the computer and connect the device with the computer correctly.
2. Run the tool (DL_MC801A_STC_SAV1.00.02.exe). The tool can get the software version
automatically. The Main interface of the Update tool is shown below：

After the connection is stable, click [UPDATE] to start the upgrade.

After the upgrade is completed, the following prompt will pop up.

After each upgrade, close the tool and restart the MC801A.

3.Notes

1．Your computer must have only one Ethernet port.

2．Make sure have selected correct version path. The version path should
have all the version files.
3．Keeping your device connected to the computer during the whole update
process.
4．Don’t insert or remove any other devices during the process.
5．Don’t start any other programs until the process is completed.
6．Keeping your computer working normally. The operation will fail if your
computer sleeps, standbys, hibernates, is logged off or shut down during reading
or writing process.
7．If the device updates fail, you can reset the device and then open the tool
to try once more.
8．If the tool cannot find device and the “Update” button on the interface is
gray for a long time, please check whether the device is connected to PC. If the
device is connected to PC normally, you can reset the device and try again.
9．Please do not close the software Update process.

10．IP address on your terminal equipment, please consult the relevant

engineers.
11．Remove the SIM card, as well as other non-terminal equipment that
comes with the Update.
