11. Course Description
This course is designed for second-year students of the English Language Program, aiming to provide them with all
advanced reading comprehension skills, such as predicting, summarizing and reasoning. It also continues developing the
knowledge and vocabulary students learned in Reading 1 and Reading 2 courses.
The course consists of 14 lessons; each revolves around different life issues, which are presented in a variety of advanced
and diverse reading passages. They are aimed at supplementing students with reading skills in a more advanced manner,
with a wide range of terminologies in various fields.
This course also introduces and instructs students to self-study reading passages through a number of exam papers
corresponding to the CEFR European Level B2 framework, or capable of reading comprehension equivalent to level 4
under the Vietnamese framework of language proficiency.
