I Introduction
Introduction – State brief background and introduce the subject in few pages;
it should not be directly lifted from the original source. Adopt an analytical
introduction to place the problem under investigation in a perspective.
II Statement of Problem
Clearly state the problem to be undertaken. Make a clear statement
highlighting the exact purview of the problem under investigation. Make a
mention of issues which would be actually investigated in the report.
III Research Questions/ Hypothesis
Make crisp statements for testing the Hypothesis or the research question on
which the research has be undertaken.
IV Objectives of the Study
There must be comprehensive objectives of the research work. These
objectives will indicate the aim, major aspects, and the overall purpose of the
study. It should be clearly and concisely defined.
The maximum aim or objectives should be up to three. If should not be too
extensive.
Phrases such as “to evaluate”, “to understand”, “to suggest” ,“to analyse” etc
shall be used.

VI Scope of Research
Briefly describe the scope of the research undertaken.
VII Significance of Research
Mention the significance/importance of the research work/study i.e., reason
and aim of the selection of the topic of research.
VIII Literature Review
‘Review of the literature’ is a survey of juristic writings on the chosen topic.
Consult the literature articles, books, reports, cases, monographs, data bases
on the broad theme to highlight:
1.1 General Development in the field
2.1 Noteworthy contribution in the field expressed through various
writings
3.1 Connect and place your proposed subject of study in literature review
to highlight its relevance.
IX Chapters
This section should mainly include the classification of chapters or the
subheadings the researcher is planning to include in the research.
