application file to Mr. N. Chopra in his office latest by
28th of February, 2022. No application will be accepted
after this.

THE CRITERIA
 LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI AWARD

…for all-round performance / excellence in classes XI and XII.

Class XII students desirous of applying for this prestigious award
must include the following details and documents in their
applications:

1. Academic performance in classes XI and XII (for which

photocopies of the final term’s report cards of the two
academic years must be attached)

2. Specifications of all external exams taken and scores / position

therein.
3. Sports – membership of the school and/or class teams; number
of matches played and won.

4. Memberships of or executive positions held in clubs or societies

in school.

5. Participation in and/or organisation of class assemblies and

special assemblies.

6. Participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and

positions won, if any.

7. Organisation of activities including a mention of the teacher co-

ordinator and exact nature of responsibility undertaken / work
done.

8. Social service of any kind in school or outside.

9. Additional talent or achievement in any other sphere.

10. A 500-words essay on the student’s personal profile, vision

statement and personal values and beliefs.

Note: Photocopies of all certificates received and documents of

proof must be appended with the application.

Applications must include the following relevant details:

1. Write-up on ‘Me & My Vision’ (300-500 words)
2. Copies of Class XI final term Report Card & Class XII Report
Card.
3. Copies of certificates won in XI and XII
- National Talent Search Examination
- National Science Olympiad
- Regional Maths Olympiad
4. A list of all class assemblies & special assembles organized and/or
participated in along with the teacher co-ordinator of the same XI
and XII.
5. A mention of any special talent or skill displayed outside school
eg. Golf, Theatre, Shooting, Music, Dance etc. Attach copies
of certificates etc. won, if any. Xi and xii
6. A list of all sports that have been played as a member of the
class team and/or school team. Any achievements at the
State/National/International level must be mentioned with all
relevant details. Give details regarding matches played & won
etc. Attach copies of certificates received. XI and XII
7. Details of all events/programmes organized in school with the
teacher co-odinators. (specify the nature of work done as a
member of the society or otherwise) eg. Awards Ceremony,
Graduation Day, Columban Fest, Debates, COQ etc. XI and
XII
8. Participation in all Intra-school & Inter-school activities must
be mentioned along with positions won, name of teacher co-
ordinator etc. Attach copies of certificates received. Eg.
- COQ, Debates & Declamations, Editorial Board, Columban
Fest, Music Competitions, Art Competitions, Drama, Ad
Acting, Quanta, etc. XI and XII
All Inter-school Science, Computer & Commerce symposia &
quizzes etc.
9. An account of anything else (achievements, interests etc.) that
may be relevant for consideration under this award. (eg. Social
 Work etc.) Preferably certificates/documents corroborating the
same must be appended. XI and XII

student applicant as well as assess by the management, the
