INSET has been considered crucial to the maintenance and sustaining the

capacity of the teachers to continue to provide quality teaching and learning

in the classroom.
It provides variety of activities and practices that meet the needs of the
teachers based from the result of their Self-Assessment. It helps us -
teachers in improving our teaching methods, classroom management,
professional growth and development and knowledge and skills
enhancement that leads to the upliftment of student-centered learning. As
they always say, quality teachers produce quality learners.
This year’s in-service training for teachers (INSET) reminds us once again
how mental health is important for us. We tackled about personality
psychology, emotional intelligence, MENTAL STRENGTH, Good Decision
Making and so on. Isn’t it important? Yes, it is because we’re living in a new
normal world with COVID 19. And same reasons as yours, I cannot think
clearly because of worry and fear that I might get infected with the virus.
But sorry COVID, we have lots of vitamins in Aroroy NHS. What do you
think of us pooobre? Just kidding.
I realized that the main reason why sometimes we’re having difficulties in
making good decision in our profession is because you keeps on
complaining and comparing yourself,/ your actions to others to the point
that you’re incapable of thinking clearly. Let us normalize believing
ourselves, our capabilities and radiate this action to our learners and
colleagues.

As the saying goes, a teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a
heart.
As a teacher, we are given a hundred and one opportunities to make an
impact on the lives of people, from students to teachers, to principals, and
to all other coworkers. As a servant leader, we selflessly share ourselves, our
hearts and our aspirations to others.

Let me end my insight about INSET by reciting a TIGSIK dedicated to all of

us.
