1. List down at least ten alias and name of dimensioning.

a. Linear Dimension – DLI

b. Aligned Dimension – DAL
c. Angular Dimension – DAN
d. Leader Dimension – LE
e. Radius Dimension – DRA
f. Diameter Dimension – DDI
g. Centerline – DCE
h. Arc Length – DAR
i. Jogged – DJO
j. Continue Dimension – DCO
k. Baseline Dimension - DBA
2. What are the similarity and difference of linear dimension to aligned dimension?

The difference between linear dimension and aligned dimension is that linear dimension measures
a straight-line distance which includes options to create horizontal, vertical or rotated linear
dimensions between two points while aligned dimension creates a linear dimension with the
dimension line parallel to the extension line origin points. The aligned dimension creates a true-
distance measured between two points of the object such as diagonal, horizontal and vertical. Their
similarities are that they both can create dimension on a straight-line distance of horizontal and
vertical.

3. What are dimension exclusive for arcs and circles?

The dimension exclusive for arcs and circles are radius dimension, diameter dimension, arc length,
jogged and center mark.

4. What is the difference of “dimcen” with positive value and negative value?

The DIMCEN with the positive value creates a center mark inside the circle while with the negative
value DIMCEN creates a center line that overlaps the circle with the given value.

5. What is the difference of continue dimension and baseline dimension?

The difference of continue dimension and baseline dimension is that continue dimension are multiple
dimensions placed end to end while baseline dimension are multiple dimensions measured from the
same origin or location. Similarly, they both start with the recently created dimension in order to create
multiple dimensions.
