c) i)
Based on the histograms and statistical data for male students, mean finding is 28.8 and SD
is 10.42 before the campaign showed on average a male student used 28.8 minutes for a
week to bathe. Mean finding for male students is 33.87 and SD is 11.06 after the campaign
showed that male students used 33.87 minutes on average for bathing. Besides, based on
mode findings before the campaign male students bathed for 25 minutes a week while after
the campaign, they bathed for 33 minutes a week. Based on the histograms and statistical
data for female students the mean is 22.47 and SD is 6.84 before the campaign showed that
on average a female student used 22.47 minutes for a week to bathe. Mean finding for
female students is 38.6 and SD is 8.24 after the campaign showed that female students
spent an average of 38.6 minutes bathing. Besides, based on mode findings before the
campaign female students bathed for 20 minutes a week while after the campaign, they
bathed for 39 minutes a week.

ii) Based on data findings the campaign doesn’t effective in term of saving practices of water
among students whether among male and female students. The data shows after the
campaign the usage of water increased for bath among both gander students. Suppose the
campaign should give awareness to all the participants and they should decrease their
usage of water to bath, however it does not happen. So, I felt this objective of campaign
failed and they failed to give awareness of water to both gander of students.

d) To compare the weekly times spent for shower after the campaign between male and
female students. I will use a comparison of mean, mode and standard deviation as a
comparison plot. This is because the findings show the average data and the numbers also
almost used consistently. The findings are below:

Based on the finding above, mean for weekly time spent by male students after campaign is
33.87 and SD is 11.06. When look at mean value for weekly time spent by female students
after campaign is 38.6 and SD is 8.24. This finding shows weekly time spent to bath on
average by female students are too long compare with male students. That is average time
spent by female is 38.6 minutes more than male students which is 33.87 minutes. Its shows
this campaign doesn’t not give effectiveness to students at all.

Based on the 50th percentile value, 50% of students spent time for bath based on findings
shows in table above. Before campaign male students spent 25 minutes and after campaign
the male students spent 33 minutes. However, before campaign female students spent 20
minutes and after campaign they spent 39 minutes.
f) Estimate the percentile rank for each of the times spent before shower is on Q3 and
percentile for times spent after shower is on Q2. This shows that there is different and it also
shows that less time taken for shower by male students a week. Besides, times taken for
shower before campaign is on Q3 and times taken for shower after campaign for female
students are on Q1. This shows there is good sign which is good progress shown by female
students.
