Big Bang Life Inc. is a vastly growing company in consumer goods. They are offering a niche market of consumer goods with
more than 300+ SKUs in their products. Even though they have niche market, the competitors are growing as well, they are
offering unique consumer experience through their marketing and product design.
You are appointing as a new Production Manager. You are hired and expected to fix problems in Production area and meet
the production KPIs. As Production Manager, you have 6 Supervisors from several production areas. Each of supervisors
has their own strength and weaknesses. They are eagerly to learn from you and expecting you as problem solver for them.
As leading player in the market, Big Bang Life Inc. always keep developing their new products to meet their customers’
demand and need. Their customers are spread across the 5 continents and 90 countries around the world. Some of
countries are demanding constant innovation and development, such as new taste, new packaging, and new customer
experience. Product development team are working hard on this and sometimes they missed the deadline or not aligned
with the Sales requirements for the new product delivery.
In the material supply side, with the vastly growing volume, your vendors are overwhelmed with the request from the
company. Sometimes they delayed or missed the delivery time, causing that you need to change the production schedule
in sudden due to material unavailability. Or sometimes the material stock are not match with the physical stocks. The
material also sometimes are stock out, even though you have planned to produce it.
Currently, Big Bang Life Inc. are very budget concerning due to uncertain economic condition, so every department is
constrained by certain budget. This affecting Production department too, where the budgets are limited and cut by 30%
from last year budget.
On July 26, 2021, you have invited to the production and planning meeting (for production starting from
