CREATE A

Wrestler
1. Give yourself a cool wrestler name.

2. Describe what you look like.

3. Describe your Wrestling Style:

• American (grappling, suplexes,

takedowns, throws)
• British (joint locks, holds, very technical,
striking with forearms and knees)

• Catch As Catch Can (strikes, kicks, joint-

breaking and choking techniques,
grappling)

• Shoot (combining Judo, Catch, Karate

and Muay Thai)
• Garbage (brawling, risky stunts like falls
from great heights, weapons; disregard
for own health and safety)

• Hardcore (weapons and other available

tools to hurt the opponent)

• Backyard(Garbage and Hardcore

wrestling combined)

• Lucha Libre (crazy aerial maneuvers,

daredevil stunts. Wearing a mask is
mandatory. Power moves are rare.
Rapid sequences of locks, moves and
spectacular high-flying moves. Bad boys
are „rudos“, good boys are called
„técnicos“)

• Rasslin’ (old American style; stiff

technical moves, folksy antics)

4. Before you became a wrestler, what job did

you have?
5. Write down two or three things you are good
at, outside of the ring.
HOW TO DO
STUFF
When you try something risky or uncertain (jump off the
top rope, leap from one rooftop to another, fight, make a cool stunt with
your car and similar things):

1. Tell the other players what you’re trying to do,

and how.

2. Roll 2d6.

3. Add +1 to for each Advantage you have.

• Experience in that type of thing
• A tool or skill that helps you
• The surroundings help you
• Cover

4. Subtract 1 for each Disadvantage you have.
• You have no clue what you’re doing
• Inappropriate equipment
• You’re injured
• The opponent wears armor

5. If your total is 8 or higher, you succeed. If it’s

lower, something bad happens.

Referee: Give the players a problem and ask: „What

do you do?“ Let there never be a dull moment. If in
doubt, have a bunch of goons crash through the
windows.

Sometimes it can be hard to do all the heavy lifting

alone. If you have trouble coming up with a good
idea, just ask the other players.

PICTURE THIS.

You are one of the chosen few. One of those who

have been raised in squared circle. As long as you
can remember, wrestling runs in your veins, the
lucha makes your heart tick.

At first you thought, what a wonderful sport. What

a feeling when the adrenaline rushed through your
body. What a kick when you pulled off that Suicida
Somersault Splash from the top rope. And the fans
were going crazy!

Then you saw one masked man against many,

fighting in that back alley, and all he used were
those over-the-top high-flying moves you knew
from inside the ring. As you ran into that battle,
preparing yourself to help him, your eyes locked
with his. And you knew: you had an ally, no, a
brother, connected with you across many
generations of your families.

And you understood that pro-wrestling had two

sides: the public one, with cheering fans and
spotlights and pops and heels and babyfaces. And
the real one, here in the world, where wrestling is
real and the costumes have power.
