Introduction

Upon the reiteration of our President Rodrigo Duterte “No vaccine,

No school ’The Department of Education adopted new modalities in

teaching which is the “blended learning approach” where face to face

is out and e-learning is in. In order to monitor the student progress,

the teacher of Victoria Homes Elementary School used different

platform, approaches and substantial to teach their students and

their active learning like messenger, google meet, zoom, facebook

page, call and text messaging. With time, altered methods and

techniques are entered in the field of education and teacher use a

different kind of aids to make effective learning.

To keep students engaged during the lessons, there's one great tool

that can be powerful in sparking your students' students' interest in

your voice.

As teachers, we all know that our voice is a teacher's most valuable

asset. We rely on our voices to a great extent, and with it, we transmit

not only information but also mood, atmosphere, and emotions.

Moreover, how we speak and what our voice sounds like have a

crucial impact on classes.

According to Remark (2020) that "Hearing is the primary channel for

learning, the more children hear, the better they will learn".

The recording voice technique is one way that students can listen to

the recording several times at their own pace.

In recognizing the distance learning challenges it is necessary for

teacher to innovate their teaching strategies. That is the reason why

the teacher researcher decided to investigate the effectiveness of

(REVOTECH)recording voice technique in teaching the lesson in

Araling. Panlipunan. Using the voice recording technique in teaching

will helps a lot to remember and clarify the lesson. Audio recording is

one step in the writing process that gives some students confidence

and ease their needs in learning.

Since I'm holding a Star section in Grade four level started my study

by getting the important details and status of my student. I gathered

the information and found out that 41 of the Diamond class have

gadgets. One of my students has no gadget or cell phone so I bought

her a simple cell phone to use in her study and get connected with

her since the tablet is not yet available at that time.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This action classroom research aims to determine how

(REVOTECH)Recording Voice Technique effective and increases the

learning skills of Grade 4 Pupils Section Diamond of Victoria Homes

Elementary School in Araling Panlipunan for the School Year (SY)

2020-2021

Specifically, this study answers the following research

questions:
1. What is the profile of the pupil-participants be described in

terms of age; sex; and gadget availability?

2. What is the learning skills level in Araling Panlipunan of Grade

IV- Diamond pupils during pre-test?

3. What is the learning skills level in Araling Panlipunan of Grade

IV- Diamond pupils during post-test?

4. What is the difference in the Learning skills of Grade IV-

Diamond pupils using REVOTECH (RECORDING VOICE

TECHNIQUE?

5. Is there a significant difference in the learning skills level of

Grade IV- Diamond pupils using REVOTECH (RECORDING

VOICE TECHNIQUE?

METHODOLOGY

The study is descriptive by nature. It tries to collect quantifiable

information for statistical analysis of the population sample. To

determine the respondent for the study. Purposive sampling was

utilized since the researcher had decided to use Grade 4 – Diamond

of Victoria Homes Elementary School SY. 2020 -2021 as the

respondents for this study, which composed of sixteen male (16) and

twenty–six female (26), respectively with the total of 42 respondents.

They were divided into two groups were group one was the control

group and the other group was the experimental group.

To collect data, the researcher conducted pre-test and post-test,

using a teacher-made test that undergone validation by a master

teacher in charge, Mr. Marlon R. Parreno. There is the comparison

made in the data gathered for pre-test and post-test to determine the

learning skills level of Grade IV - Diamond pupils in Araling Panlipunan

using REVOTECH (RECORDING VOICE TECHNIQUE. To analysed data,

the researcher used simple Mean and t-Test as statistical tools.

PARTICIPANTS

The respondents of this study were 42 pupils, of which 16 are males

and 26 are females respectively from Grade IV – Diamond of Victoria

Homes Elementary School enrolled during the school year 2020 -

2021. The respondent is group into two. The controlled group and

experimental group were composed of 8 males and 13 females.

Grouping was based on their average grade earned last year.

DATA ANALYSIS

The pre-test and post-test results of both the controlled and

experimental groups were analysed, compared, computed, and

interpreted. To evaluate whether the means of pre-test and post-test

are statistically significant from each other, paired t-test was used.
The researcher applied the principles of informed consent,

confidentiality, and beneficence as the ethical considerations of this

action research.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
