ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Many lives and destinies are destroyed due to lack of proper guidance, directions and
opportunities. It is in this respect I feel that I am in much better condition today due to
continuous process of motivation and focus provided by my parents and teachers in general. The
process of completion of this project was a tedious job and requires care and support at all stages.
I would like to highlight the role played by individuals toward this.

I am eternally grateful to honorable director Dr. Deepa Sharma for providing us the opportunity
and infrastructure to complete the project as a partial fulfillment of B.Tech degree.

I am very thankful to Dr. P.K. Singh, Head of Department, for his kind support and faith in us.

I would like to express my sincere thanks, with deep sense of gratitude to my project guide
Assistant Professor Mr. Rahul Gupta for his keen interest in my project.

I am also thankful to all visible and invisible hands which helped us to complete this project with
a feeling of success.

ABSTRACT

Automatic railway crossing controller is a system for improving railway crossing. This system is
reliable and much effective then the previous railway crossing system in which a human has to
be involve all the time, this system work also when their will be no person to operate the barriers
opening and closing . In this project the railway barrier automatically close when the train is few
Kilometer away from the barrier and automatically gets open when the train crosses that barrier
and goes few Kilometer ahead of it . Here we display the station and distance of the train on
LCD display as the station crosses any station a buzzer will run and a message will display on
LCD screen.
