dissent. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV.
I lived there for 29 years, before my job
(I was working at Citibank at the Lakes),
transferred me to Jacksonville, FL. I lived
in Jacksonville for 1 ½ years, and moved
back to Nevada to marry my husband, who
lived in Overton, NV. I have currently
lived in Overton for 19 years. I included a
photo of St. Augustine beach, because I
St. Augustine Beach, Fl would love to have a 2nd home there
I took 2 years of French in high school. someday. I love the beach, the weather,
I wish I could say I speak it fluently, “Mais the beauty, and the history of St.
Non”. It is such a beautiful language Augustine.
though., My daughter’s name, Jolie, is the
French word for “pretty.” Maybe I’ll give
it another try someday. C’est la vie!!!

I have always enjoyed Halloween, because I liked dressing up, and it was so

Christmas was one of the more peaceful and happy times for me growing
daughter Jolie up. I always wanted to teach my kids about how Christmas was a lot more
(15), and me, than presents and Santa Claus, but about celebrating Jesus’ birth and
being thankful and grateful. Also the Christmastime season falls around
Penny. Mark’s and I anniversary. Christmas justs warms my heart and soul.

 Short term goals include: getting healthier and
stronger,, taking up roller skating again, being more
crafty and creative, taking stained glass classes (a
dream of mine for YEARS), getting my kids through
high school, and onto college, and just be happy!

Long term goals: RETIREMENT!!! My husband and I

hope to retire in ten years, traveling to every state in
the U.S., taking a tour of Italy, and seeing the aurora
borealis. I would also like to volunteer more, and
perhaps make the world, or at least Nevada, a more
peaceful place.

I try to live by this motto, “Let go

and Let God”. I have at least 2
signs in my house that say this. It
is way easier said than done. I am
always trying to control everything
in my life. Sometimes we just need
to breath, and let it go, and put it
in God’s hands.

loving, honest, and caring. Everyone should
be treated equally and with respect and
dignity. I hope and I pray that I am an
excellent example to my children, to treat
others the way you would like to be treated.
