AC Current Measuring Circuit in Analog Multimeter

Current transformer having large number of turns in secondary converts the line current into
low value.
It is converted to DC using bridge rectifier.
The DC current is measured using galvanometer.

Analog Multimeter used to measure different values of resistances (ohm meter)

It is like an ohmmeter. It has a 1.5V battery and resistances.

Initially, The instrument is shorted and zero adjust control is varied until the meter reads zero
resistance.
The unknown resistance Rx is connected between two terminals.
Different multiplier resistances(R1,R2) are used for scale multiplications for reading higher
resistances.
The galvanometer is calibrated in terms of resistance value.
