1. WHAT IS CRISIS?
-Any occurrence or period that will, or may, result in an
unstable and dangerous situation affecting an individual,
a group, or society as a whole.
2. WHAT IS VULNERABILITY?
-The amount to which modifications can hurt or harm a
person or a system is referred to as vulnerability.
Vulnerability is the susceptibility to physical or mental
hurt or attack, according to a complex definition. It also
means to be vulnerable, susceptible to criticism or
censure; assailable.
3. WHAT IS RISK?
-When a person is exposed to a hazard, there is a risk or
probability that he or she will be harmed or suffer an
undesirable health outcome.
4. WHAT IS DANGER?
-Her career was not in jeopardy due to exposure or
liability to damage, pain, harm, or loss a safe area for
children to play. The dangers of mining are a situation or
source of danger.
5. WHAT IS DAMAGE?
-Damage is the loss suffered by a person as a result of
another person's wrongful act. Damages, on the other
hand, are distinct from damage and are one of the
remedies accessible to the plaintiff.
6. WHAT IS MITIGATION?
-Mitigation is defined as the decrease of something
dangerous or its detrimental effects. It could refer to
actions made to mitigate the adverse consequences of
hazards that are still present in the environment, or to
deal with hazardous situations that have already
occurred.
7. WHAT IS PREVENTION?
-Preventing anything from happening, the act of
preventing something from happening.
8. WHAT IS CRISIS RESTORATION?
-Crisis Restoration provides the knowledge, experience,
and equipment to restore your property to its pre-loss
state.
9. WHAT IS CRISIS ANALYSIS?
- Following a crisis, a scenario analysis examines main
crisis drivers, affected locations, the number and kind of
people affected, the ways in which people are affected,
the most pressing needs, and available resources.
10. WHAT IS CRISIS POST ACTION?
- In reaction to a present or impending incident, crisis
action plans are created in time-sensitive situations. As
preparation takes place, crisis action plans are built
based on the scenario and the dangers that present.
These strategies must be flexible enough to adjust to
changing circumstances during an occurrence.
