ACTIVITY 9
1. Explain briefly at least these (3) duties of the Filipino people that are almost always
practiced by the common “tao.’
The Filipino value system or Filipino values refers to the set of values that a majority
of the Filipino have historically held important in their lives. This Philippine values
system includes their own unique assemblage of consistent ideologies, moral codes,
ethical practices, etiquette and cultural and personal values that are promoted by their
society. As with any society though, the values that an individual holds sacred can
differ on the basis of religion, upbringing and other factors.
As a general description, the distinct value system of Filipinos is rooted primarily in
personal alliance systems, especially those based in kinship, obligation, friendship,
religion (particularly Christianity) and commercial relationships.
2. On human rights, differentiate the following:
Political rights refer to an individual's ability to participate in the civil and political
life of the society and state without fear of discrimination or repression, and is tied
closely to citizenship status, while the constitution right can be a prerogative or a
duty, a power or a restraint of power, recognized and established by a sovereign
state or union of states.
Natural rights are those that are not dependent on the laws, customs, or beliefs of any
particular culture or government, and are therefore universal and inalienable. Civil
rights are an essential component of democracy. They're guarantees of equal social
opportunities and protection under the law, regardless of race, religion, or other
characteristics.

“Trip to Jerusalem” is a parlor game also known as “musical chairs.” In the game,
players compete for a limited number of chairs by circling them, and after the music
stops playing, the one who gets the last chair is the winner.
Document Report:
Outputs:
The origins of the game's name as "Trip to Jerusalem" is disputed. However, it is
known to come from its German name Reise Nach Jerusalem ("The Journey to
Jerusalem"). One theory suggests that the name was inspired by the Crusades,
wherein several heavy losses were incurred. Another theory suggests that it was
inspired by the Aliyah, the immigration of Jews from the diaspora to the Land of
Israel (which includes the modern State of Israel), wherein it is stated that spaces on
ships taking the Jews to the said land were limited. None of these theories were
officially confirmed.
Summary Reports:
Musical chairs, also known as Trip to Jerusalem, is a game of elimination involving
players, chairs, and music. It is a staple of many parties worldwide. musical chairs had
a similar custom to the modern version, with slight differences; the boys would
always sit whilst the girls would skip around, always outnumbering the boys, if the a
girl didn't sit fast enough on the boy's lap, she would have to forfeit, this would
continue until the end when the winning girl would kiss the last boy on the cheek.
