Abstract
State the problem, your approach and what you think will be the main
contributions of your work. Focus on the originality of the work that you are proposing
and write in a line or two how your work differs from other works in the standard
literature. Insert your submitted abstract – reduce it to about 100 words.
Introduction
Provide a detailed introduction to the topic of the project, project deliverables,
and also explain how the domain evolved over time and the key problem in that domain
that you are addressing in the proposed project work.
Solution
Problem Statement - Describe with clarity the problem statement. If possible,
take an example and explain with respect to the example, the details of the problem and
why the problem merits attention of the researchers/consultants. The example should
clearly bring out the essentials of the problem under consideration. If needed, you can
use figures to illustrate the key aspects of the problem. Additionally, you can take the
aid of notations (eg. set theoretic notations and others) to describe your problem and
highlight why the problem is so important to be addressed.
Project Design –In this section you should describe your project in detail,
providing the approach and algorithms, value to the market, details on your project
execution, how it differs from the existing solutions, any constraints or issues that were
faced.

System Requirements
As part of this section, you should highlight the project set up that you have considered
to test your solution approach. You should describe the hardware details, the versions
of the software used, tools, etc. for your project. List the hardware and software that you
plan to use in your project under the following categories. Some projects may have no
entries under some of the categories.
Expected Results
Provide a brief summary of the expected results at the end of your project that will
successfully establish and prove your project objectives.
Project timelines:
Provide the project timelines. Break the project into small and manageable components
and list the planned start and end dates.
