Introduction
Including the topic. The work explain or teach us about the argumentative and narrative text,
there Definition and Elements, Objectives and Structure, Characters and Importance including
the reason why help many societies to entertain and organize themselves.
Argumentative text
Argumentative text is a textual type that consists in the defense of an idea through arguments,
opinion and reasoned explanations.
Structure
Introduction
The central theme that will be addressed in the text must be mentioned in order to situate
the interlocutor.
Development
The action happens or developed in an opinionated and argumentative way in this part of
the text.
Conclusion
The conclusion must be a synthesis of the problem addressed, but with considerations
Additions to express the result of what has been thought throughout the text.
The Aim
The really aim is to discuss an opinion or idea about something like events or moments that is
happened or is happing in a moment.
Importance
Help must of the people to reflect, review, organize and choose a good decision about some
problem,
Example
Rights and obligation- the texts that shows all the rights of people and defend that exist things
that they can do for free and things that they can’t.
Narrative text is a type of text that outlines the actions of characters in a given time and space.
Generally, it is written in prose and in it some facts and events are narrated (recounted).
Examples
Novel- count love actions with people in a certain moment, relate history about something that
can be true or not.
Structure
Presentation:
In this initial part the author of the text introduces the characters, the place and the time in
which the plot will develop.
Development
Here much of the story is developed with a focus on the actions of the characters.
Climax: part of the development of the story, the climax designates the most exciting
moment in the narrative.
Conclusion
It is determined by the final part of the narrative, where from the events, conflicts are
developed.
Elements
Narrator
Is the one who narrates the story, they are divided into: observer narrator, character
narrator and omniscient narrator.
Plot
This is the structure of the narrative, that is, the plot in which the actions unfold. They are
classified into: linear plot and non-linear plot.
Characters
Are those that make up the narrative being classified into: main characters (protagonist
and antagonist) and secondary characters (adjunct or supporting).
Time
Is related to the marking of time within the narrative, for example, a date or a specific
moment. Time can be chronological or psychological.
Space
Place where the narrative develops. They can occur in a physical environment,
psychological environment or social environment.
Character
The participates in the actions, are narrated in 3rd person, this type of narrator knows the facts
but does not participate in the action; the story is told in 3rd person; is simple and clear;
Importance
The really importance is to entertain the one who will read or listen the history.
Conclusion
I saw that argumentative text is atypical text general more used in company to give solutions of
troubles or give advice to chance opinions or correct things that are not good, and narrative is
usually used to make people happen or knowing about real things or fake, resuming, is only to
entertain the reader
