Women’s Leadership Initiative

As a ZSer, you will get access to business resource
groups such as the Women’s Leadership Initiative
(WLI), which promotes strong connections between
colleagues who share common interests, backgrounds
and lifestyles.
The WLI supports women in building successful, long-
term careers at ZS by enabling professional growth,
fostering an inclusive working environment and
supporting individual choices. The WLI community
connects regularly to provide opportunities and
avenues for women colleagues across the firm to
discuss their needs and ideas. Every month the
team hosts events that focus on skill enablement
and emphasize professional growth. External guest
speakers regularly visit the WLI to highlight their
personal experiences and to import best practices
in the process.
Mentorship and support
At ZS, you can count on both formal and informal
guidance and support throughout your career. Our
collaborative work environment creates connections
among our team and our clients.
Women at all levels of ZS are paired with senior
leaders to receive coaching through informal talks,
planned lunches and community support via social
connects. These relationships help guide women ZSers
through career-planning discussions and provide
continued mentorship throughout their time at
the firm.
Ally communities at ZS
ZS also has a strong community of male allies
spearheading various gender-diversity and inclusion
initiatives across our offices. These allies play a vital
role in coaching and mentoring women into
leadership positions.

Leave programs
ZS grants unique leave opportunities in addition to
regular paid and sick leaves:
• ZS grants maternity leave of up to 26 weeks.
• ZS’s family leave program recognizes ZSers’ roles
within their families, and provides paid time off up
to 10 weeks in connection with the birth or adoption
of a child or a family member’s serious
health condition.
Care for working mothers
ZS provides ongoing support for maternity health and
wellness. Each new-to-be-mom is connected with a
‘maternity mate’ who regularly checks on their well-
being and provides guidance. ZS encourages mothers
to return to work and helps to find them suitable
roles and staffing. As mothers begin to work, they can
determine the best child care possible through ZS’s
daycare support.
Flexible work hours
We recognize that every situation is unique. To
nurture your career longevity, ZS offers short- and
long-term flexibility to adjust your work commitments
as your priorities in life evolve. We work with you
on an individual basis to tailor transition support
and to create a flexible schedule that empowers you
to balance your personal and family commitments
alongside your career aspirations.
